Boeing 737 MAX 8 with CFM LEAP engines
The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is a further development of the 737-800. The engines of the MAX series have a fan diameter 18 centimeters larger than the NG family. Due to the low ground clearance of the wings, the engines were mounted on engine pylons extending further forward and higher, and the nose landing gear was extended by about 20 centimeters.
